At Legends, we have NO issues with pit bikes. (even though I'm going to kick the crap out of three certain young boys that love making ruts in my grass! ) No names will be mentioned.. Weston, DJ and Dalton.. :) As long I Know we have a Pit-Bike group, I will let you have your own pratice time or you can practice with the 65's. As long as we don't have turmoil or a safety issue, Legends is fine with them, always have been.
Have a great days folks.. |

Instead, you decided to argue about the size or your so called " 50 " ( bad move on your part bro!) I have read your post 3 times, and don't disagree with you.. I was hot, mad as hell, and laughing all at the same time. However, Legends is MY track, with MY rules.. If you would like to discuss my reasoning's for my decision about any given day.. I'm all ears at the proper time. ( your "proper" time seems to always be on MO state??? )
I once heard, " LEARNING IS NOT ALWAYS TAUGHT IN A CLASSROOM" . You can say, the track is my classroom these days. Saturday, I had a 5 year old boy with tears in his eyes tell me " The big bikes scare me". Imagine your five years old Bryan ( actually it's not hard to imagine ) and you are on the track for the first time. Your about to head through the rhythm section and the bumps are bigger than you and the bike combined... The next thing you hear is a loud pit bike coming up from behind... My little 5 year old is now FREAKING out. Bryan, no matter how cool your being or how cautious you'r being, sometimes it's just the noise of the bigger bikes dude... I have to see and make decisions about the whole track and ALL of the riders on a day by day, case by case basis. I make decisions that fit that day, the week, the month.. AND the set of riders I have on THAT day .. Based on your message, you don't get that! I will make the decisions and the rules about Legends, and if you come back, you will follow them.. Period!
Hope the rest of day get's better bro.
Bart
My name is Ryan not Bryan FYI. And the real kicker is Bart is that I've rode my pit bike with the 50's oh 5 or more times over the last year at YOUR track and you never said a word?? And saturday I didn't even make a full lap rolling everything and you stopped me and started yelling at me "no doubling"? Which I would be fine with that. But you was already pissed for some reason and I was trying to tell you that I HAVEN'T doubled anything and I didn't even plan on it because I blew the shock on my 50 last weekend. I wasn't arguing with you. I was just trying to tell you I hadn't done anything wrong. If you would of listened to me for a moment and I could of told you that it was fine and I didn't plan on doubling anything anyways, all this could of been avoided. Instead you decided to get in my face and start yelling? Yeah I started the argument hmm? I was cool headed the whole time until you started hitting my bike with the flag and yelling again. So I took off and I thought we was done, but no you had to come to my truck and make an ass out of yourself again in front of my 8yr old cousin. Which his parents have called you and apparently you haven't even called back to apologize. Way to go dude!
If you would of stopped me and calmly told me what was up and the kids on the track saturday wasn't comfortable with the pit bikes I would of been happy to ride another class. But you was pissed from the second I stopped for some reason. I was just trying to tell you I hadn't doubled anything and you flipped out. And yeah I will bring stuff out in public when you refuse to call me or apologize to my family for talking the way you did in front of them.
And there was a guy riding the 50 class on a pitbike when I got there hauling ass and doubling some bigger stuff. I rode the NEXT 50 practice. So if there was kids who didn't like the pit bikes shouldn't of that been addressed on the speakers before the next practice?!?!?!? Just seems like everything is getting pushed off on me when I was trying to be reasonable and you flipped out? Yeah all my fault....

Well that would be great to have our own Pit Bike practice when there is enough of us there to make it worth the time, But with the 65's and 85's we would get ran over by some of them kids. A good group of them are faster then me on my big bike.lol And I would fear for there safety and mine riding with them. We would just be in there way. |

You just don't go off hitting people when they raise a fist at you, thats far from self defense!!! They would actually have to make contact with you in a harmful way. And I never said he raised his fist. I said he was ready to hit me when I finally told him to get out of my face at my truck. But im past that now I was actually trying to tell Bart my side of how it all went down. I wasn't trying to argue with him. I barely had anything to say. He was just going off. lol. But I just got word he called and said sorry to my lil cousin's parents for cussing in front of him like that. |

| Guns dont kill people people kill people, David in my own defense here, raced a pitbike race last year, got hooked, had way more fun racing the little bikes as well as building a new breed. I heard what went on and it should have not even been an issue. Barts track Barts rules, simple, And I know Bart is about the safety of the riders and thats why there was a decision made to put the pitters in with the 65s should have not been an issue, And if they are faster than you on a big bike whats the big deal if they pass you on a little bike. Your explanation though not needed on here Bart was a great one, Thanks for bein there for everyone, I warned you this would happen, sometimes listening to advice is good advice. If this is the worst thing in life you have to go through your life will be charmed, if you learn from this, even more so. |

Ok, two things and we will move on.. First, please check with Brandi and her Husband before you state that I haven't called them back..(wrong again! ) that was done almost 2 hours ago bro. Second, you missed the point about riding your Pit Bike with the 50's.. As stated before, I make decisions based on the circumstance in front of me.. Last year you may have ridden with the 50's. But this weekend, I had 2 VERY young riders on the track for the first time.. This overrides anything you did last year or even at 10:00 AM on Saturday. You need to learn how to except change Ryan.. it's not personal. Yes, I was mad as hell.. Right after you decided that my rules didn't fit your agenda... I'm not apologizing for it. Move on.
Again, hope your day get's better.

Read 2 posts above yours Bart I know you called them back. But if there was 2 young riders on the track for the first time, why did you allow any pitbikes on the track to begin with? Like I said there was one pit bike rider on the track with the 50's when I got there DOUBLING some bigger jumps and I rode the NEXT practice and the same guy was out there before me.I'm sorry I was just doing the same thing I did every other time I came there to practice. I'm not telepathic and didn't know you changed your mind on the rules all of a sudden. You shouldn't of allowed ANY pit bike bikes on the track PERIOD if you didn't think it was safe for the kids. So don't make me out to be the bad guy. Its not like I seen you flag me and kept on riding, I stopped to see what was up and you blew up on me. I wasn't trying to argue with you. You never even gave me a chance to say a sentence before you blew up. So yes you do owe me an apology. I didn't do a damn thing wrong and you know it. You just lost it and can't admit that your at fault for the whole mess. |

Thanks alot Bart! Sounds great! I will try to make a race/practice as soon as I can! I will try to get some of the guys from the Sho-Me Pit Bike Series to come with me and tear it up! We would love to have another track that will allow us to ride. Looking forward to it, last time I was at Legends, I was in a wheelchair in 2005! Just went to watch Jimmy Albertson! Still have never rode there :(

Bart is one of the nicest and most helpful track owners around. My son is a noobie MX-er and Bart makes sure he stays as safe as possible, by keeping him with the group of riders he belongs in and giving good advice to us. Don't worry about losing any business from Ryan, Bart. My son has several friends wanting to ride your track with him. Wish we could have made this weekend, but things just didn't work out for your aswome track. See ya next time.
